'It's Alright' is an ode to the ups and downs that life throws at us on a daily basis. Through soothing lyrics, melodic vocals and smooth tempo, Sweetlemondae reiterates the importance of grounding yourself and reminding yourself that every feeling is temporary.

“There's also just something so calming about the phrase 'It's Alright' it kind of reminds you that life is not stagnant and that everything is ever-changing therefore, no matter what you are going through it will pass and you may not feel 100 percent, but you will be okay.”

“The track is one of those songs that you can play when you’re feeling low. We all go through different things daily, so I wrote this song to remind myself that no matter what I’m feeling, I will come out the other side of it.”

“'It's Alright’ was made purely off how I was feeling at the time. The hook was my favourite part of the song which then helped me write the other two verses. I actually worked on the second verse at
my house and then went back into the studio to record it. All the ad-libs that we then added to the
song just made it sound a lot more magical and hopeful, which is the purpose of the song.”
